The Finance Services department provides leadership, operational oversight and system coordination of financial products and services to ensure fiscal stability and integrity to the District and the citizens of Contra Costa County.
As the District’s key financial expert, the Associate Vice Chancellor/Chief Financial Officer (CFO) is responsible for the administration and management of business services for the District. The CFO is also responsible for development, analysis and strategic planning related to Districtwide financial matters including budget preparation and control, fiscal record management, and risk management. Additionally, the CFO provides leadership to the Finance Services,
Payroll Services, and
Purchasing departments and the policy and procedure training for District services and college staff members, ensuring all systems work effectively to support the Districtwide structure.
