The District Police coordinates campus safety and security. Officers are graduates of the
California POST Academy and are trained to the same standards as their municipal counterparts.

This Police Department is accredited by the California Commission on Peace Officer Standards and Training (POST). Our officers train in a manner consistent
with these standards and are compliant with the requirements established by POST.

Contra Costa Community College PD Policy Manual
District Police work closely with neighboring police agencies and coordinate activities and
share information. In certain situations, District Police confer with the District Attorney's
Office and with state police agencies.
Officers are authorized to enforce all regulations and laws on campus and in areas surrounding
the campus community.
