Where We Are Located

View Area Map

The Contra Costa Community College District has three main colleges: Contra Costa College in San Pablo, Diablo Valley College in Pleasant Hill, and Los Medanos College in Pittsburg. It also has centers in San Ramon and Brentwood. Our colleges, located throughout Contra Costa County, are 30-40 minutes east of San Francisco. Both Contra Costa County and the San Francisco Bay Area are centers of northern California's cultural and economic life. Our colleges, in the heart of this hub, offer many opportunities for personal, academic, and professional growth.

Transfer to a University

Students who would like to obtain a bachelor's degree from the University of California or a California State University will benefit from the "2+2=4" transfer program. Students will be able to take the first two years of their bachelor's degree program at our community colleges and then transfer to a 4-year university for the last two years. Many international students can benefit from taking courses during the first two years at our community colleges. They are the same ones found at 4-year universities but have fewer students, more academic assistance, English language skills support, and much lower tuition during the first two years of study.

International Student Office

Each of our colleges offers a wide-range of international student services through its own International Students Office to assist with international admissions, the immigration process, health insurance, housing, and academic support. All of these features of the International Students Program make the Contra Costa Community College District the best educational value.
